The firm is proud to support arts in the community through principal sponsorship of the Waitakaruru Arboretum and Sculpture Park annual sculpture awards.

In 2011, Harkness Henry celebrated twenty years of sponsorship of the annual Harkness Henry lecture.  The lecture, held in conjunction with The University of Waikato Te Piringa - Faculty of Law, is delivered by an individual distinguished within his or her field and addresses issues relating to the development of New Zealand jurisprudence.  Previous distinguished speakers are:
