New Zealand Courts retain an important supervisory function over the exercise of public power by public bodies. Citizens aggrieved by the abuse of public power may challenge the way in which that power has been exercised by way of judicial review.

We have represented a number of clients in high profile judicial review proceedings and have successfully challenged public bodies which have acted outside their statutory powers. We also assist clients with submissions to select committees and preparing lobbying strategies when pending legislative change may affect our clients' interests.
