Jaime Bright

Solicitor, Employment & Resource Management
Jaime advises clients on a broad range of employment issues, with a focus on restructuring, drafting appropriate terms and conditions of employment and the procedural requirements of managing disciplinary matters. She works with clients to resolve personal grievances through negotiation, mediation and/or representation at the Employment Relations Authortiy.
Jaime appears on behalf of clients at Local Authority and Environment Court hearings, most recently acting in one of New Zealand's leading cultural, historic heritage and landscape cases. She advises clients on resource management issues, including resource consent applications and planning requirements, together with local government and Public Works Act issues. Prior to joining Harkness Henry, Jaime worked predominantly in the areas of residential and commercial property, employment law and private client matters for another Hamilton firm. While living in London, Jaime worked in investment property.
Jaime holds a law degree and a degree in social science majoring in political science.
