Andrea Twaddle is one of Harkness Henry's specialist employment and resource management lawyers.

Andrea practised in Human Resources for several years prior to legal practice. Andrea advises on all aspects of employment issues, specialising in strategic, commercially focused and pragmatic advice. She attends mediations on behalf of clients and appears in the Employment Relations Authority and Employment Court. She is a regular commentator, presenter and educator on contentious and non-contentious employment issues.

Andrea also advises on resource management issues, including resource consent applications, submissions on district and regional plans, resource management due diligence and local government matters. She provides advice on the interrelationship between the Treaty of Waitangi and resource management law.  Andrea represents clients at Local Authority hearings and in the District and Environment Courts.

Andrea holds a first class honours degree in law and degrees in commerce and physical education. She is a member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand and the Resource Management Law Association.
